GRA ASSURES TAXPAYERS AND
CALLS FOR SUPPORT
The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) wishes to assure the general public especially taxpayers that the Authority has put in place the necessary precautionary measures to ensure the safety of all individuals who visit any of its offices.
The Authority is focused on fulfilling its mandate of mobilising revenue for national development and as such all operational activities are ongoing in earnest.
To forestall crowding in our offices during peak periods when taxpayers file their returns, GRA urges taxpayers to file ALL their returns before the due dates.
For example, the due date for the filing of VAT/NHIL/Getfund levy and Communications Service Tax returns for February is the last working day of March ie, Tuesday, 31st March 2020. However, we encourage all taxpayers to file before the last working day of the month. Returns can be submitted on any working day before the last working day to ease the congestion in our offices.
With regards to 2nd Quarter Vehicle Income Tax (VIT) stickers, commercial vehicle owners are to purchase the stickers before the end of March, 2020 to avoid long queues in our offices.
