Compilation of register of professionals in good standing

PUBLIC NOTICE

COMPILATION OF REGISTER OF PROFESSIONALS

IN GOOD STANDING

The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) wishes to inform the general public especially professionals that the Authority is in the process of updating its register of professionals who practice in the country and in good standing with regard to their tax obligations.

The register will have details of professionals i.e. lawyers, doctors, health professionals, engineers, contractors etc. who have registered to pay tax, have filed all tax returns, made payments and fulfilled all other tax obligations.  The compiled register will be published extensively in the print media and on the GRA website and social media platforms starting from 1st June, 2022.

In this vein, the Authority requests all professionals who are not in good standing to contact the GRA through the following means: the nearest GRA office, info@gra.gov.gh, WhatsApp – 0552 990 000 and 0553 280229 to regularise their tax affairs before the 1st June, 2022 deadline.

GRA reminds all professionals practicing in Ghana that failure to register with the Authority and to honour one’s tax obligation is an offence punishable by law.
