Brigadier General Glover Ashong Annan is a respected and dedicated senior military officer with a distinguished career in defense, security, and strategic programme management. With extensive expertise in training doctrine, security operations, and organizational development, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the operational effectiveness of the Ghana Armed Forces.

He served as the Assistant Commandant in charge of Research and Development at the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College, where he contributed significantly to the evolution of military thought and doctrine. Prior to joining the GRA, Brigadier General Annan was appointed the Presidential Security Coordinator at Jubilee House, where he oversaw and coordinated the security of the Presidency, ensuring the highest levels of protection for the nation’s leadership.

In his current role as Customs Commissioner, he brings strategic oversight, discipline, and a wealth of security experience to national revenue and border protection initiatives.
